Hollywood star Kirstie Alley has died of colon cancer at the age of 71, rose to fame by featuring the long-running hit NBC sitcom "Cheers" as the neurotic Rebecca Howe

Her children revealed that the actor was recently diagnosed with cancer. Kirstie Alley had died at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida.

Kirstie has two children. Lillie Price Stevenson and William True Stevenson were the ones who opened up about the cause of their mother's death.
